RULES

    ‘Purchasers’ are guaranteed to receive payments for a maximum of 18 games during the minor round of the 2016 season. 
1.    The payments each week will be based on approximately 2/3rds of the sum received on the night of the sale, taking into account that the purchaser has fourteen days to pay their bid.
    
2.    The payments will be arrived at by dividing into 18 equal amounts the 66.6% of the total received, calculating this amount into 3/6ths for a weekly first prize, 2/6th for a weekly second prize and 1/6th for a weekly third prize.

3.    Payment of the ‘purchase price’ must be made by 8.00 pm on the 14th May 2016. 
4.    No payouts will be made until all purchase money has been paid to the Club. 
5.     Weekly dividends will be posted on the notice board within 7 days of the closing date.
    LOTS NOT PAID FOR BY THE ABOVE TIME MAY BE RE-AUCTIONED.
6.    Payments will be made retrospective to the 2nd April 2016.
    
7.    Payments will generally be made as a lump sum of total winnings to each lot owner at the end of the season unless other arrangements have been made with the Treasurer.
            
8.    Payments must be collected from the Club, no payments will be mailed unless extenuating circumstances arise.
    
9.    The Club Treasurer will maintain by a complete record of income and payments.
    
10.    The number of players to be auctioned will be sorted into lots by the Committee. All listed players have played at least one game at the time of the auction (unless announced otherwise), but the club cannot guarantee availability or selection after that date. “Caveat Emptor”-Buyer Beware
    
11.    The three payments will be made based on an amalgamation of the five best player votes from ‘A’ and ‘B’ grade with the three highest points receiving the payments.  In the event of a tie in one or more of the prizes the dollar value of the next payment down will be added to the payment and shared equally between prize winners. In the event that it be the third prize then that money alone will be divided equally.


SOME FIGURES

1.    The Club will return approximately 66.6% of the income received.
2.    If 56 players are auctioned in lots of 4 there will be 14 lots for sale, plus a mystery lot (or lots) to provide for players not included in the first 55.
3.    If the lots sell at an average of $250.00 each the income will be $3750.00.
66.6% of $3750 equals $2500.00.
16 payments of $155.00 equals approx $2500.00.
This equates to weekly payments as follows    
                1st prize ( 3/6ths )    $80
                2nd prize ( 2/6ths )    $50
                3rd prize ( 1/6th )    $25
